They said it was going to start about noon. This was about 11:30am....and it never really accumulated anything.
Then all of a sudden, 2 hours later, about 1:00pm in about 20 mins we get this:
So, about 1/2 inch in 20 minutes.
At the moment- this appears all that is going to fall as there is now blue sky overhead and the sun is shining brightly. 
A potpourri of life's little experiences that we usually don't pay attention to but find them interesting when we discover them.
