A potpourri of life's little experiences that we usually don't pay attention to but find them interesting when we discover them.

Hot Day in the sun on your knees?

For those of you who want to know how it's done...
(Oops- am I giving away the secrets of a magician?)

We both think she will get quite an "Honorable Mention"...if she doesn't just take the cake.
Here are some others-
(no that's not anti-gravity- she's drawing on a wall)

Our friend Lynn- being quite artistic!!!

Eye candy?

Would you believe these are all on the same Rose bush?

When they bloom, they are like dancing fire flames-like the ones on the lower right.

As the sun touches them they turn RED on the edges, then deeper like the one on the bottom left. You can see the ones in the middle are the newest.

This Rose has been the more dazzling ornament in our garden!

Dedicated to my lady who cares for these...She's got the touch!

Click to see the detail much closer...I dare you!

The Setting Sun

I opened the door to my tool shed -and this little guy must be feasting on all the scrumptious bug that come crawling under the door to keep him company- what a strange place to find a frog. This is one of those that has those sticky toes so when he jumps he can STICK to you! He's real cute if you zoom in on the pic (click it)

What a good feeling when all the work is done...

Star Attraction

Of course, have to stop and smell the roses!

If you look closely, you can see our neighbor.

I don't remember a time when we've had this many Lilly Blooms.

We are not alone on this planet

I can't tell if this little guy was trying to keep warm or just hiding...it was 74 Degrees out.

Since the warm weather started- I decided to enjoy it the right way- out on the deck cookin' dinner. Just hamburgers- but Joyce R E A L L Y likes it when "I" cook...

Got the glove on the wrong hand?....

Your display probably isn't big enough to see the next whole picture...
Click on either pic for the most amazing view of this visitor we had this evening! Even a 46inch display wasn't big enough...

Go ahead- ZOOM way in...incredible!

Glistening Diamonds in my garden

We think this little guy was drunk on Rhodi-nector!

This is Hosta. It has the most peculiar property I have ever see when it comes to catching rain water- and with just a little persuasion you can make these "Floating Diamonds" go down the stem, which is like a tube to the center of the plant.

That is a Swainson's Thrush with it's 'Spiriling' song you hear in the background.See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swainson

Fragrance does have color.

I decided to take a Humming Birds eye view of my favorite scented flower in my garden. It has such a spell-casting aroma. The humming birds were here a LOT!

Kiss me I'm Iris...

Make my day!

This little guy seems to have made our fish pond his permanent residence- there is a smaller one also. They have been here since late April. I would hope he's been getting fat on the TONS of tiny slugs that infested our struggling garden. He's really quite more bronze looking than this picture shows...and so is the other one. I just can't refuse a nice smile...P>))
