As the World Turns- so does the dirt.

I hope we don't get some freakish freeze and kill all the Irises that are starting to poke their swords out.















We are finally out of the deep freeze- I think.

Naked...but not for long. Look down at the lower right of the picture- there are some Iris swords starting to poke out.

We go through this every year. Wondering if we killed the grape vine by pruning it so heavily in the late fall. It's what the book says for 3 years running- and last year was a real bumper crop.
